Visual artist and art/educator based in NYC. She is interested in urban space as a terrain for cultural expression, as a performatic locus that is constantly being negotiated. Her works seeks to activate forms of representation, interaction and transformation of the multifaceted dynamics that shapes the space and urban life. Most of her works are site-specific, employing video and photography, and often developed with the collaboration of local agents, communities, architects, anthropologists and artists.
She has taught at different educational institutions, and has been involved in collective projects: co-curating the show Apamar: charts, metrics and politics of space (ACVic, 2011), and co-directing the forum QUAM 2011: Wikpolis. Cartographies and collective creation of the social space (ACVic, 2011). She is the co-author of the book Balkan Suite (Olot, 2008) and artist in residence at the platform Trans Art Laboratori: art in context (Hospital Sant Pau, Barcelona, 2008). Her work has been exhibited in various contemporary art centers, in Spain and abroad.
