El vent i el contrallum fan visible a estones les impressions serigràfiques sobre tela de cotó. Imatges i paraules serigrafiades que exploren la vida del material tèxtil des de la collita fins que arriba a les mans d’usuaris i usuàries. Instal·lació pública en el context de NYS el festival que vincula indústria i cultura.
The wind and the backlight intermittently bring into view screen-printed images and words on cotton cloth. These traces explore the life of textile material, from its harvest to the moment it arrives in the hands of those who use it.
"In the XIV century, writer and traveller Sir John Mandeville describes a marvellous tree (cotton) growing in India: at the ends of its branches hang lambs, and the branches are so supple that they bend all the way to the ground, allowing the lambs to graze whenever they are hungry. To refrain from asking about the lives of the materials with which we surround ourselves—is this not to remain in that same state of wonder?"
